Welcome to Aurum. By accessing our website or using our application, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Nature of the Service

Aurum is a technical financial management and visualization tool under the "Local-First" paradigm.

No Advice: Aurum does NOT provide financial, tax, or legal advice.
All information and calculations (such as retirement projections) are purely informative.
No Access to Funds: The application is not an asset manager and has no access to your funds or your real bank credentials.

2. Donations and Project Support

We accept voluntary contributions as support for the project.

Nature: Donations are voluntary acts of support for the development and evolution of the application.
They do not constitute the purchase of a service or product.
Rights: Making a donation does not grant ownership rights, control over the development (roadmap), or guaranteed technical support.
Non-Refundable: Due to their nature as voluntary support, donations are not subject to refunds.

3. Data Management and Privacy

Local Storage: Data is processed on your device (IndexedDB).
We do not store your personal or financial information on our servers; the content of your backups travels directly between your browser and your Google Drive.
Optional Synchronization: The use of Google Drive is voluntary. The Drive access session is handled through our authentication service, which does not store your data (see the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy).
The user maintains custody of their own files and can export their data manually for their own management.
Custody: You are solely responsible for the security of your device, your backups, and your access credentials for third-party services.

4. Disclaimer

Aurum is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. The user assumes all responsibility for financial decisions made based on the use of the application.

5. Intellectual Property

Aurum's design, code, and brand are protected by copyright. The reproduction or commercial exploitation of the tool is prohibited without express written consent.

6. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts in Spain.
